Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

FindVolleyball is a small, free, community-run project — this policy is written in plain language because that's what it actually is. If anything here is unclear, email robert.tyler.miller@gmail.com and ask.

What we collect

Account info: if you sign up, we store your email address (via email/password or Google sign-in). We never see or store your password — that's handled entirely by our auth provider, Supabase.

Listings you submit: the details you enter on the submission form (location, schedule, cost, skill level, contact link, optional photo, etc.) and which account submitted it.

Votes and reports: when you vote "still happening?" or report an issue on a listing, we store that action and any note you write, tied to the listing — not to your identity beyond your account ID.

Why we collect it

To run the map: showing listings, letting you submit and manage your own, reviewing submissions before they go public, and keeping listing data accurate over time via votes and reports. We don't use any of this for advertising, and we don't sell or share it with data brokers.

Who else sees it

We rely on a small set of third-party services to run FindVolleyball, each only seeing what it needs to do its job:

If a listing's contact link points to Buy Me a Coffee, Meetup, or another external site, visiting it is covered by that site's own privacy policy, not this one.

How long we keep it

Listing, vote, and report data stays as long as the listing does. If you want your account and associated data deleted, email us and we'll take care of it.

Children

FindVolleyball isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Questions or requests

To access, correct, or delete your data, or if you have any other question about this policy, email robert.tyler.miller@gmail.com.
